Distant

The story of the movie unfolds against the backdrop of snowy and dank Istanbul. Yusuf, a young laborer from the countryside, comes to the city to get a job at the port. He stays with his relative Mahmut, a successful photographer. Mahmut is outwardly the opposite of the unsophisticated and uneducated Yusuf. He is successful in life, but Mahmut's work is extremely boring. In addition, he can barely express his feelings for his ex-wife or his lover.
