Where The White Cranes Dance

The little boy Vanya returns home after a long period of treatment and is reunited with his mother, but their family happiness is short-lived. Following the loss of a loved one, Vanya embarks on a desperate quest to see his mother again and find inner peace. According to Yakut tradition, anyone who witnesses the dance of the sterkhs – white cranes – in the sky will be blessed with eternal happiness and tranquility. And Vanya believes in this ancient promise.
