The XI Eurasia International Film Festival was held in 2015 in Almaty. For the first time, the festival began to work in accordance with the regulations of the International Federation of Film Producers' Associations (FIAPF). The PROCC, a professional club of cinematographers, has resumed its work. Within the framework of Eurasia, the 1st Almaty International Film Festival “Stars of Shaken” was also held, the president of which is Asanali Ashimov.
The festival continued to expand the geography of the participating countries. The Kazakhstani audience saw films from all five continents: Asia, Europe, Africa, America and Australia.
The main intrigue of the film forum was the world premiere of Akan Satayev's Kazakh – Canadian film “Hacker” starring American actors Callan Mcauliffe and Lorraine Nicholson.

Prize for the best director 's work – Elchin Musaoglu (“Nabat”, Azerbaijan).
Special Jury Prize – “Favorite Thing” (India).
Prize for the best female role – Fatima Motamed – Arya (“Nabat”, Azerbaijan).
Prize for the best male role – Yerzhan Nurymbet (“Zhat”, Kazakhstan).
FIPRESCI Jury Prize – “Barrier” (Kazakhstan), dir. Zhasulan Poshanov.
NETPAC Jury Prize for the best film – “Kunanbay” (Kazakhstan), dir. Doskhan Zholzhaksynov
NETPAC Jury Prize for the best female role – Alfiya Sembayeva (“The first wife of Sagintai”, Kazakhstan).
NETPAC Jury Prize for the best actor – Yerkebulan Daiyrov (“Barrier”, Kazakhstan).
