The closing ceremony of the XVI Eurasia International Film Festival will be held on December 18 at the Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abay.

At 15.00 in the foyer of the theater, the participants and guests of the festival will have a traditional red carpet, which will launch the event.

The official closing ceremony will begin at 16.00. It will announce the winners in the International and National competition programs in the following nominations in both programs:

- Best Film;

- Best Director's Work;

- Best performance of a male role;

- Best performance of a female role;

- Special jury prize.

In addition, the jury of the International Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema (NETPAC) – the leading authority in the field of Asian cinema – will present the prize to its laureate.

And at 17.00 will be shown the closing film of the festival.
