The Jury of the International Competition of the XVI Eurasia Film Festival includes 5 people.
Chairman of the jury:
Ali Khamraev – a well-known film director and screenwriter from Uzbekistan. During his long career, he has directed 20 feature films and about 40 documentaries and television films. Among them: The Extraordinary Commissioner (1970), The Seventh Bullet (1972), The Bodyguard (1979), The Garden of Desires (1987).
Members of the Jury:
- Ernest Abdyjaparov – Kyrgyz film director, screenwriter and producer, participant of more than 20 international film festivals. His short film Taranchi (1995) collected prizes from several festivals and international cinematographic organizations. Another film – Village Council (2004) was also awarded prizes at several film festivals, including a Special Jury Prize of the II Eurasia International Film Festival.
- Sergey Dvortsevoy – Kazakh and Russian film director, screenwriter, producer, member of the jury of the American Film Academy. His film Tulip (2008) won the Grand Prix Special Look in Cannes, and the film Aika was nominated for the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival and was shortlisted for the Academy Award.
- Rusudan Glurdjidze – Georgian film director, screenwriter and producer. Multiple prize-winner of international film festivals. Her film Someone Else's House (2016) was awarded the Grand Prix of the XII Eurasia International Film Festival and the award of the Russian Academy of Cinematography Nika for the best film of the CIS and Baltic countries.
- Talgat Temenov – Kazakh director, screenwriter, actor, professor. People's Artist of Kazakhstan (1998). Among his works as a director and screenwriter at the same time are The Wolf among people (1988, special jury prize “For the best directorial debut” at the Lisbon International Film Festival), Running Target (1991), The Little Prince of our City (2015).
