As we have already noted, the Eurasia Film Festival will include two competitive programs:
- International, within the framework of which 15 full-length feature films shot on the territory of the Eurasian continent over the past 12 months will compete, without thematic and genre restrictions;
- National, the prizes of which will be contested by 15 domestic full-length feature films produced in 2021-2022, without thematic and genre restrictions.
The out-of-competition program will include:
- the Special Event program, which will present a retrospective of films by famous figures of world cinema of different eras and genres, including films of the anniversary, as well as films of the opening and closing of the festival;
- the Discovery of new names program, dedicated to modern short Kazakh cinema. It will include screenings of the 15 best films by young directors shot in 2020-2022.
From other events of the festival, one can single out the Work-In-Progress program, which presents domestic films that are at the production stage. It will be especially interesting for producers and film festival selectors.
There will also be workshops and trainings with masters of the film industry. And, of course, round tables and press conferences with jury members, foreign and Kazakhstani participants of the festival will be organized.
